thanks to a number of lovely pins, i'm day dreaming about a pleated midi skirt. while it's not your average bottom, it certainly can be quite fun. for daytime, i love the combo with a striped top or button down and sneakers. or for evening, add a bit of sparkle with a metallic one- pair it simply with a black top and heels. you'll be ready to party when that first holiday invite rolls in!

trying to decide on a new pair of jeans practically requires a phd in fashion industry jargon-- crop step fray, slim boyfriend (aka girlfriend), cropped mid-rise wide leg, slouchy straight, deconstructed, reconstructed, etc... i guess the reasoning behind this is we are all looking for something a little different than our standard issue mid-rise skinny jeans. if you are in the market for something different try these looks on for size.
