the k.i.s.s. principle feels appropriate now that it's time to update my school uniform to something better suited for the cold weather. in an effort to keep things extremely uncomplicated it's just going to be a black cashmere sweater instead of (or maybe over!) my go-to white poplin blouses. light distressed denim is still a constant. you can find great sweaters at everlane, halogen, ayr and white + warren to pair with jeans from a g or citizens of humanity. richly textured slides from tabitha simmons or jenni kayne would make it easy to run right out the door. spice things up this everyday look with a printed handbag- the camo tote from parker thatch is especially fun.
