we spent our spring break vacation in the big apple, which was quite exciting for two little boys from the 'burbs. we hit the town (natural history museum, broadway show), had some fun with friends (dylan's candy bar, mocktails at an ice bar) and squeezed in a couple stops to appease mom and dad (balthazar, polo lounge). for me, the cherry on top of it all was to visit the new vogue magazine offices at 1 world trade center. it was not easy to maintain my composure touring 'the vogue closet' while taking in row after row of the most well edited jewelry, handbags, shoes and racks of gorgeous clothing ready for upcoming photo shoots. talk about some springtime shopping inspiration!
